Mathnasium
K-12 math tutoring in Sarasota using personalized learning plans and multiple instructional methods.
About
Mathnasium offers math tutoring for students from preschool through high school in Sarasota. Each student receives an assessment-based learning plan tailored to their needs. The program covers early childhood math, core K-12 subjects, and college prep courses including Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. Test prep is available for PSAT, SAT, ACT, and other college admissions assessments. Tutoring uses five instructional techniques: mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written methods. The center works with students across all skill levels, including those seeking extra support, advanced learners, and homeschooled students. Homework help is included during sessions. Both in-center and online tutoring are available, and a Mathnasium Plus program serves high-achievers pursuing advanced, beyond-grade-level instruction.
