Sierra Club
Florida Sierra Club chapter organizing hikes, paddles, volunteer work, and conservation campaigns across the state.
About
Sierra Club's Florida chapter brings together people who want to explore and protect natural places across the state. Based in Osprey, the chapter organizes outings like hikes, paddles, canoe trips, and nature walks. Beyond recreation, members participate in volunteer work including coastal dune restoration and trail maintenance. The chapter also runs conservation campaigns on issues affecting Florida's environment and hosts educational programs on wildlife and native plants. Committee meetings, book clubs focused on environmental topics, and social gatherings connect members around shared values. The chapter publishes a podcast called Protect Florida featuring environmental storytelling.
