Towles Court Artist Colony is a shared studio space in downtown Sarasota where working artists create and exhibit contemporary work. The colony opens to the public through open studios, events, and exhibitions throughout the year. From October through May, the monthly 3rd Friday Art Walks draw visitors to meet artists in their studios, browse and purchase art and jewelry, and enjoy live music and refreshments. Featured artists include Helen Rosenkranz, Susan Coyne, Anne Ireland, Maggie Bosco, and Terry Martin. It's a place where you can step into active studios, see artists at work, and connect directly with the people making the work.
